Borcat Trailers manufacture a range of PBS compliant PBS Trailer Range in different configurations to suit a variety of applications including quarry, grain and excavation. All body and chassis specifications are the same across our trailer range, with some specific requirements to meet PBS.
PBS design standards allow for many different truck and trailer configurations, which allows the industry to maximise productivity and payload, and in turn, less truck movements on the road.
Our PBS trailers are NHVR approved, and Borcat Trailers are constantly in direct contact with relevant industry bodies to make sure the process happens smoothly.
All PBS units when quoted are inclusive of permits so there is no ‘bill-shock’ at the end of the business transaction.

Chassis tipper or tip-over-axle.
Aluminium or high tensile steel
- Aluminium bin constructed from high tensile aluminium with Borcat exclusive extrusion.
- Steel bin constructed from 450 grade Hardox, including front sheet, hoist box and inner coamings, Borcat design.
Standard 50 tonne hoist. Other options are available. Hoist brand to customer specification.
ADR compliant LED light system.
Standard top swing with short offset (‘S’ Bend style – easy to repair), 2-way gate options, 4 chrome locking fingers standard. Other options also available.
High-tensile steel, Borcat proven design, cleaned, blasted and 2-Pak painted.
Borcat proven, individual suspension modules mounted to aluminium main rails.
ADR 62 Compliant, 89 x 89 x 6 SHS various lengths and options.
16mm high-tensile with bolt in king pin.
Air bag suspension standard. All industry leading brands available. Spring option also available on request.
Disc or drum brake, steer axle in rear. All industry leading brands available.
ADR compliant brake system.
Aluminium wheels standard. Chromed aluminium and steel options also available.
Grain doors, grain locks, sludge locks, rock sheet, floor liners, water tank, tool box, and spill trays.
